If you like planets you`ll love Aciqra, a free program (of open code) that works as a virtual viewer (in other words an observatory) from where you can study the Solar System. Thanks to Aciqra, you can see planets, stars, galaxies, constellations, etc.



You can also learn space data like phases or diameter angles, locate solar events and study planetary orbits. Aciqra is, definitively, a good observatory for planets, and is also portable. It is worth trying.
